Schedule of Events

The 2026 Northern Lights Lantern Festival has been cancelled, due to the forecasted rain and thunderstorms on Saturday. This decision while difficult is necessary to mitigate financial losses and maintain the long term ability to host the festival. We look forward to next year’s festival in August 2027. Thank you for your continued support and understanding!

The festival takes place at Merv Sullivan Park (The Pit) on Novalea Drive, in North End Halifax.  Walk, use active transportation or take Halifax Transit Routes 7A, 7B or 29 to get to the festival.
