On August 8, 2026, join us as a volunteer at the Northern Lights Lantern Festival! We’re looking for volunteers in the following areas:
- Setup
- BBQ (Cooks and Area Volunteers)
- Volunteer Support
- Temporary Tattoos
- Lantern Making
- Face Painting
- Parade of Lanterns
- Tear Down
Volunteers will be provided with a volunteer t-shirt and a name tag.
The lantern festival takes place in an open sports field, with little shade. Please bring and wear sunscreen, a hat, comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear (sneakers or athletic shoes).
Additional information will be provided in advance of the festival via provided email.
In the event of forecasted rain, the festival will be cancelled for 2026. Notice of cancellation will be communicated to volunteers via email and text message (if mobile number is provided) in advance of the festival.
